Measles in U.S. at Highest Level Since 2001

The United States has had 64 cases of measles since January, the highest number reported for this time period since 2001, health officials reported.

In an unusual outbreak of measles in San Diego, 12 children fell ill; nine of them had not been inoculated against the virus because their parents objected.
